About Me

As 2026 forces us to reckon with major global instability and deadly conditions for many communities in the United States, this website is in chrysalis and under reconstruction. Stay tuned. Below we leave a biographical snippet as a temporary placeholder.

In A Nutshell

Aida Manduley, LICSW is an award-winning organizer, international presenter, and liberation-focused therapist known for tackling taboos and uniting strange bedfellows. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Aida eventually made their way to New York after almost two decades in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, where they received their undergraduate degree from Brown University and MSW from Boston University.

Whether you want to discuss “la petite mort” or actual death, Aida’s jam is tackling all things justice and pleasure from cradle to grave. The goal? Building resilient communities, transforming cycles of violence, and nourishing our capacities for delight.

Trained as a sexuality educator, anti-violence advocate, circle-keeper, and nonprofit executive, they’re also working to get us all more comfortable with hard conversations and dismantling systems that perpetuate oppression. Manduley’s 15+ years of professional experience in these aforementioned roles (as well as those of facilitator, consultant, and organizational strategist) have yielded a range of successful collaborations with clients ranging from state Departments of Health and Ivy League institutions to small grassroots organizations and neighborhood associations. With experience in both nonprofit and corporate settings—and specialties in arenas such as trauma, non-carceral responses to care, neurodivergence, and accessibility—Mx. Manduley deploys a diversity of tactics to yield a world where we may all thrive.
